It is also the aim of our team to find out such conclusions in the international teams and discuss them during the Mobility in Poland (9-13 September 2019) in order to make final international findings. We will be working on this issue during workshop on Thursday.

Details of the Polish workshop

Proposition coming from the Polish Group.

We would like to propose you some crucial activities for the project we are missing a bit.

To go further, I mean to go to the next Master Phase - 6 months experimentation and to build the helpful platform of learnables principle, the project needs to summarize the last year and we do not have too much data/results shared yet. The following things are very important and it is why we want to hear the voice from all international teams. So be ready with your reports (they need to be put on FB or Edmodo before the meeting in Poland) concerning 3 things:

Profiling (Report as a document should/could be divided into three parts:

1. Methodology

2. Results

3. Discussion/Conclusion)

Subjects for discussion and summary:

Description of the traditional teaching today in your country and in what way does it conflict with students expectations and needs.

Description of the “learnables” strategies which according to your students would work the best.

You can make few pages report consisting of all of these issues. It is important to place this report as soon as possible. It will help us to prepare ourselves for the workshops. These national reports will be the base for the discussion and workshops we will provide. And here the main idea for the workshop on Thursday what is the way to try to clarify a few things:

1.How do students learn "today" and how do they want to be taught in comparison to their needs?

2. What techniques and methods are the most effective according to them.

3. We will try to build general layout or key points for the innovative lessons (The principles).

4. We will also try to prepare one lesson (by each international group)

5. We will also discuss our expectations according to the platform.

6. The last thing is to build a common plan (some elements of it) for the 6 months experimentation e.g. how many lessons (minimum) should be practiced and tested by each team? What is the way the lessons (their methods) will be evaluated?

School partners meeting at university

Today 28th November we had a meeting with all school partners engaged in the project. The meeting was held by Faculty of Education. We have presented the first outcomes from the next step in the project - innovative methodology. This stage was designed and based on the document by Michael Dal's Guides for experimentation and our own conclusion coming from the first year report . We were discussing with teachers from partner schools about experimentation and the way we are going to design and evaluate the lessons. Our first results in the experimentation were also shown in the prepared presentation and summaries of some aspects of the lessons. Some pictures as examples  of lessons we have already provided  in/for our partner schools Active learning  Problem solving  &  Innovative Technology
